How are the drug test samples taken? Hair testing to assess drug use is an accepted process whereby the number of drugs and drug metabolites found within a hair sample are accurately measured. The window of detection for hair drug testing is from one week to 12 months. How are the alcohol test samples taken? Hair testing for alcohol use is an accepted and validated process where biomarkers of alcohol consumption may be detected in the tested samples and can indicate abstinence or chronic excessive alcohol consumption of up to 6 months. Additional blood tests may be undertaken to corroborate hair testing and provide a more detailed understanding of the results. NorthGene strongly recommends that both hair and blood testing is utilised when testing for chronic excessive alcohol consumption. How are the samples collected? For your connivance we can we send out a team of specimen collectors to your corporate workplace. They will collect the samples from your desired employee donors and you will have the conveyance of observing the process.
